Choi-Yong Tul

 

Definition:

(46) Named after General Choi Yong (1316–1388), premier and commander in chief of the armed forces during the 14th century Koryo Dynasty. Choi Yong was greatly respected for his loyalty, patriotism, and humility. He was executed by his subordinate commanders headed by general Yi Song Gae, who later became the first King of the Choson (Lee Dynasty).

 

Details:

12, 17:

Middle turning kick.

 

13-14 & 18-19

high reverse hooking kick and a middle side piercing kick (pulling both hands in the opposite direction) in a consecutive kick.

 

21-22:

Execute both pressing blocks in a fast motion.

 

24, 27:

Middle front snap kick.

 

29:

Slide to form a L-stance while executing a middle guarding block to D with the forearm.

 

35, 42:

Middle side piercing kick forming a forearm guarding block.

 

 

38, 44:

High reverse hooking kick.

 

38, 45:

Lower the foot in a stamping motion to form a L-stance while executing a middle outward strike with the right knife-hand.

 

46:

Slide to form a fixed stance while executing a middle punch.

 

Définition:

(46) Général Cho Yong (1316–1388) était commandant en chef de Koryo au XIVe siècle grandement réputé pour sa loyauté, son patriotisme et son humilité.  Il fut exécuté par ses seconds, dirigés par le général Yi Song Gae qui fonda plus tard Choson  (dynastie de Lee).
