Definition:

(61) Honours the 30th King of the Silla Dynasty Moon Moo Wang (reigned 661-681 CE). His son scattered his ashes over Dae Wang Am (Rock of the Great King).

According to his will: "A country should not be without a king at any time. Let the Prince have my crown before he has my coffin. Cremate my remains and scatter the ashes in the sea where the whales live. I will become a dragon and thwart foreign invasion."

The 61 movements in this pattern symbolize the last two figures of 661CE when Moon Moo came to the throne.

1, 10:

Bending ready stance A performed in a slow motion.

2-3 & 11-12:

Execute a high side piercing kick (performed in slow motion) and a high side piercing kick. Perform both as a double kick.

4, 13:

Middle thrust with the flat fingertip.

5, 14:

High reverse hooking kick in a slow motion.

9, 18:

Execute a high side block with the knife-hand and a low side block with the knife-hand while forming a one-leg stance, pulling the reverse footsword to the right knee joint in slow motion.

20, 23:

High back piercing kick performed in slow motion..

25, 34:

Slide forming a rear foot stance while executing a downward block with the palm.

26, 35:

Middle side front snap kick (keep the position of the hands).

27, 36:

Execute a middle side strike with the side fist in a stamping motion.

28-29 & 37-38

Slide maintaining a sitting stance while executing a scooping block with the palm followed by a middle punch in a connecting motion.

31, 40:

Move the foot just beyond the other foot in a quick motion while executing a middle side pushing kick.

32, 41:

High reverse turning kick.

43, 46:

High twisting kick.

48:

Execute a front strike with the back fist while shifting.

49:

Sweeping kick (keep the position of the hands).

50, 53:

Perform a side checking kick and then a middle side thrusting kick (forming a forearm guarding block) as a consecutive kick.

High punch.

(61) Honore le 30ème Roi de la Dynastie Silla Moon Moo Wang (régné 661-681). Son fils a dispersé ses cendres sur Dae Wang Am (le rocher du grand roi).

Selon sa volonté : "un pays ne devrait pas être sans un roi à tout moment. Laissez le Prince avoir ma couronne avant qu'il n'ait mon cercueil. Incinérez mes restes et dispersez les cendres en mer où les baleines vivent. Je deviendrai un dragon et contrecarrerai l'invasion étrangère."

Le nombre de mouvements indique les deux derniers chiffres de l'année 661 où Moon Moo accéda au trône.
