Definition:

(24) Named after the greatest Korean King, Se-Jong Daewang (1397-1450) of the Choson dynasty, who invented the Korean alphabet in 1443, and was also a noted meteorologist. The diagram represents the king, while the 24 movements refer to the 24 letters of the Korean alphabet.

Form a sitting stance while extending the fist horizontally in a slow motion.

Form a right fixed stance while thrusting with the side elbow.

23:

High guarding block with a knife-hand.

 

Définition:

(24) En l'honneur du plus grand monarque de la Corée, Se-Jong Daewang (1397-1450), météorologiste réputé et inventeur de l'alphabet Coréen en 1443. Le tracé exprime le concept de "roi". Les 24 mouvements réfèrent au nombre de lettres de l'alphabet Coréen.
