Yoo-Sin Tul

 

Definition:

(68) Named after General Kim Yoo Sin (595-673) during the Silla Dynasty. The 68 movements refer to the last two figures of 668 CE when he destroyed Koguryo to united Korea. The ready posture signifies a sword drawn on the right rather than left side, symbolizing Yoo Sin's mistake of following his King's orders to fight with foreign forces against his own nation.

2, 3:

Angle punch while sliding in a fast motion.

 

10-11 & 14,15:

Scooping block followed by a middle punch in a connecting motion.

 

16-19:

High hooking block, middle punch, high hooking block and middle punch in a continuous motion.

 

20-21 & 25-26:

Pressing block with an X-fist and rising block with an X-knife-hand in a continuous motion.

 

23, 28:

Low front snap kick (keep the position of the hands).

 

34-35 & 36-37:

High block with the double forearm followed by a low block with the forearm (keep the forearm as it was previously) in a fast motion.

 

39:

High block with the reverse knife-hand.

 

41, 42:

Execute an upset punch with a twin fist to form a right walking stance with a stamping motion.

 

45, 48:

Angle punch in a slow motion.

 

49, 50:

Fixed stance while executing a U-shape punch.

 

51:

Execute a front strike with the right back fist to form a sitting stance in a stamping motion.

 

52:

Waving kick with the foot (keep the position of the hands) and then a high outward block

 

53:

Waving kick with the foot (keep the position of the hands) and then a high front block.

 

55-56 & 58-59:

Execute a middle crescent kick to the palm and middle side piercing kick (forming a forearm guarding block) in a consecutive kick.

 

Définition:

(68) Nom du général Kim Yoo Sin (595-673) de Silla, qui unifia les trois royaumes de Corée en conquérant Koguryo.  Le nombre de mouvements donne les 2 chiffres terminaux de l'année de cette unification en 668.  La position de départ représente le geste pour dégainer un sabre du côté droit plutôt que du côté gauche, et symbolise l'erreur de Yoo Sin, d'obéir aux ordres de son roi, de combattre avec des forces étrangères contre sa propre nation.
